Setting
Spillway Park is a shaded day-use area situated along the Columbia River on Lake Umatilla, directly downstream of McNary Lock and Dam. The site features a reservable group shelter with eight picnic tables and two fire grills, as well as a volleyball court and two dam overlooks. Visitors have direct access to the McNary Dam Wildlife Area trail system. Nearby points of interest include the Pacific Salmon Visitor Center and the Oregon Fish Viewing Room.
Getting there: From Highway 730 turn north on Devore Road, at the stop sign turn left and continue down the hill past McNary Dam's main parking lot and the Spillway Park Shelter will be on your right once get into the park.
