Setting
Rocky Bend Group Campground sits on the banks of the Nestucca River in Oregon's coastal mountain range, 16 miles east of Beaver along the Nestucca Country Scenic Byway. The single group site holds up to 50 people with parking for three to four RVs or trailers plus three to five cars. On-site facilities include five picnic tables, a large fire ring, a vault toilet, easy river access, and a garbage dumpster. Anglers fish the river for seasonal steelhead and salmon. Nearby attractions include the Niagara Trailhead, which leads to Niagara and Pheasant Creek Falls, and Clarence Creek Falls.
Getting there: From Hebo, Oregon, travel north on Highway 101 four miles to Beaver, Oregon and turn on Blaine Road for 6 miles. Turn right on Upper Nestucca River Road and follow for 10 miles. Site is on the right.
