Setting
Hebo Lake Campground sits at 1,650 feet on Mt. Hebo within a forest of western hemlock, Douglas fir, and red alder. Surrounding a three-acre lake stocked with rainbow trout, the site offers 12 campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings, plus five accessible fishing docks. Facilities include vault toilets and a historic 1937 Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelter. Hiking access is available on the half-mile Hebo Lake Loop Trail and the nearby Pioneer-Indian Trail. No drinking water is available on site.
Getting there: From Hebo, OR: Starting at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 22, travel 1/4 mile south on Highway 22 to Forest Service Road 14; if you reach the Hebo Ranger Station you have gone too far. Turn left onto Forest Service Road 14 and travel east for 4.5 miles; the entrance to the Hebo Lake Campground will be on the right.
