Dovre Recreation Site in OR -- Campground & RV Camping

Dover is a riverfront campground in the Oregon Coast Range, positioned along the Nestucca River National Back Country Byway and the Nestucca Wild and Scenic River. It offers 10 individual campsites with paved parking, picnic tables, and fire rings, alongside a shared group shelter. Facilities include two vault toilets, a central well providing potable water, and two river access points located at site #6. The Nestucca River is well-known for fishing, and the site serves as a base to explore the region or reach the nearby Upper Nestucca Off-Highway Vehicle Riding Area.

Getting there: From Willamina: Take Willamina Creek Road, to Coast Creek Road, to Gilbert Creek Road, to Bald Mountain Access Road, to Bible Creek Road to the Nestucca Byway. From Carlton: Take Meadow Lake Road west 12 miles, continue onto the Nestucca Byway.
