Setting
Sprawling park spanning over 9,000 acres with more than 24 miles of walking trails and extensive horse paths winding through old-growth forest and volcanic terrain. The signature Trail of Ten Falls runs 7.2 miles past a cascade of waterfalls on Silver Creek, including South Falls at 177 feet and Double Falls at 178 feet, with several routes passing behind the falling water. Historic South Falls Lodge, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, offers a visitor center with nature store.
