Campground details
Setting
Located along Highway 20 near Santiam Pass in the Willamette National Forest, this rustic campground sits on the west shore of shallow Lost Lake, where water levels drop in summer to reveal marshy willow stands. The site features 15 single-unit campsites, three single vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings, but provides no drinking water. Trailers are not recommended. Nearby destinations include the Pacific Crest Trail, Mt. Washington Wilderness, Sand Mountain Lookout, and Big Lake.
Getting there: Lost Lake Campground is located 28 miles northeast of McKenzie Bridge, Oregon, just off of Hwy. 20.
