Ice Cap Campground features 21 sites—including 9 walk-in tent sites and 12 sites for RVs or trailers up to 20 feet—along with one entry picnic site. Infrastructure includes picnic tables, fire rings, and two wheelchair-accessible double vault toilets. Situated near the McKenzie Wild & Scenic River, Carmen Reservoir, and Clear Lake, the campground sits a mile from a boat ramp and within ten miles of local hot springs. The 3-mile waterfall loop trail to Sahalie and Koosah Falls and the McKenzie River National Recreation Trail are directly accessible.
Getting there: From McKenzie Bridge, travel 17.3 miles east on Hwy 126. Turn left at the Ice Cap Campground/Koosah Falls Sign. Follow signs about half a mile to the campground.
