Setting
Tillicum Beach Campground sits directly on the sandy Pacific Ocean shore just south of the Alsea River. The facility provides single-family campsites equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings, along with drinking water and flush toilets. A select few non-waterfront sites offer electric and water hookups, though there are no showers. Most sites feature open ocean views while retaining some shade from the Coastal Range backdrop. Visitors come to swim, surf, walk the beach, and watch for whales, with Cape Perpetua located six miles south and Waldport four miles north.
