Setting
Cape Perpetua Campground sits along Cape Creek in the Siuslaw National Forest, bounded by Sitka spruce, Douglas fir, and alder trees. Many sites sit directly beside the creek, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. On-site facilities include flush toilets and drinking water, with a moderate trail leading to the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center. A 23-mile trail system weaves through surrounding old-growth forest and rocky coastal overlooks. Nearby attractions include tide pools, beach access at Heceta Beach, and dump stations 12 miles away in Waldport or at Carl G. Washburn State Park.
Getting there: Campground is located North of Florence, Oregon along Highway 101, 22 miles north of Florence, Oregon and 3 miles south of Yachats, Oregon. Campground is located on the east side of the highway in the Cape Perpetua Scenic area. After turning off Highway 101, take a right at the split with the signed road to the Cape Perpetua Campground.
