Red Diamond Campground is a single-loop group facility hosting up to 25 people beneath Douglas fir, maple, and alder trees. Located along the South Fork of the McKenzie River, the shaded grounds feature picnic tables, campfire rings, parking, portable toilets, and trash collection, but no drinking water. Campers can access local fishing holes and kayaking spots on the river, or reach Cougar Reservoir a short drive north. Surrounding trails like Box Canyon, Chucksney Mountain, and Grasshopper Mountain support hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
