Climbs 15,000 ft over 77.5 miles through 66 switchbacks, with sustained grades near 18% and pitches to 86%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~220 ft on the downhill side. Dead-end road with no mapped turnaround, so expect to back out or unhitch. A gate 43 miles in.
