Clay Creek Recreation Site sits at the confluence of Clay Creek and the Siuslaw River in Oregon's Coast Range. Facilities include 21 individual campsites with paved parking pads, fire rings, grills, picnic tables, and tent pads, alongside vault toilets, drinking water, group shelters, a children's play area, horseshoe pits, a ball field, and a seasonal swimming area. The Clay Creek Trail leads into an old-growth Douglas fir canopy above camp. Note that overnight camping is currently closed, but day-use areas remain open.
