Set in a lodgepole pine, hemlock, fir, and spruce forest near Crescent, Odell, and Davis lakes, Crescent Creek Campground provides a base in the eastern Cascade Range. The facility accommodates tents, trailers, and RVs with picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets, but lacks water and electric hookups. Visitors use the nearby lakes for boating, fishing, and swimming, or head to the Summit Lake Trail for mountain biking and hiking with views of Diamond Peak.
All 0.4 miles in are maintained for passenger cars. Graded dirt the whole way in (0.4 miles). Overhead clearance here is posted at 18 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.
Odell Butte stands 2,523 ft above the site, 2.1 miles southwest. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 9-site campground. Most of them shaded. A river runs 0.4 mi off. The nearest town, La Pine, is 22 mi off.
