Setting
Riverside Campground is a walk-in, tent-only facility set in a coniferous forest along the upper Metolius River. Campers must carry their gear a short distance to sites equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills; vault toilets are available on site. The cold, spring-fed river attracts fly-fishing anglers for trout and salmon, while land activities include hiking along the water and in nearby subalpine forests. Nearby destinations include the Camp Sherman Fish Viewing Platform, fish hatcheries, and the long-distance Metolius-Windigo Trail.
