Set within an old-growth forest off Forest Road 37, North Fork Campground is a small, quiet retreat offering vault toilets and drinking water. The site provides quick access to Fish Lake, a spring-fed body of water replenished by over 45 underground volcanic streams. A boat ramp with a 10 mph speed limit is located a few miles away, making the area popular for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Nearby trails lead into the Sky Lakes Wilderness, Mount McLoughlin, Brown Mountain, and along the Pacific Crest Trail.
