Flumet Flat Group Campground in OR -- Campground & RV Camping

Set in a large meadow in southwest Oregon's Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, this group site features individual parking spurs for tents and trailers alongside picnic tables, campfire rings, and a vault toilet. No water or electricity is on site. The grounds sit near swimming and fishing spots on the Applegate River, with the 3/4-mile Gin Lin National Recreation Trail just south. The surrounding Siskiyou ridges offer long-distance hiking on the Mule Mountain Trail, while nearby Applegate Lake provides boating and canoeing north of the Red Buttes Wilderness.

Getting there: From Jacksonville, OR, travel west on Highway 238 for 8 miles to Ruch, OR. Turn left onto Upper Applegate Road and travel 9.6 miles to Palmer Creek Road. Turn right on to Palmer Creek Road, and travel 0.5 mile to the Flumet Flat Group Campground, entrance on the right.
