Setting
Sherwood Campground sits along the Upper Hood River directly off Highway 35 near Mt. Hood. This small facility offers campsites positioned right on the water, with central pit toilets and seasonal camp host coverage. The sound of the rushing river masks nearby road traffic. Visitors can explore the riverbed or walk a few hundred feet along Highway 35 to reach the Tamanawas Falls trailhead, while Mt. Hood sits 15 minutes away.
Getting there: From I-84 at Hood River, head south on highway 35 toward Mt. Hood. Just past the Tamanawas Falls trailhead parking, the Sherwood Campground is on the right.
