Jackman Park Campground sits at an elevation of 7,800 feet among aspen groves on the flanks of Steens Mountain within the Steens Mountain Cooperative Management and Protective Area. The primitive facility features six first-come, first-served campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire grates, along with an accessible vault toilet. No trash service is provided. Located along the Steens Mountain Loop, the campground sits near the Kiger Gorge Overlook, which offers views of a glacially carved U-shaped valley.
