A 9.0-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Douglas County, OR. The road serves Deer Creek Diversion Dam. The road is open seasonally, May 1 to November 30.

All 9 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 1 miles of dirt. Climbs 2,500 ft over 9 miles -- sustained grades near 18%, with pitches to 47%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~150 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 13 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. A water crossing 4.5 miles in.

Thorn Mountain stands 2,014 ft above the site, 1.9 miles north. Lemolo Canal No. 2 runs 0.2 mi off. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Oakridge, is 31 mi off.
