Thielsen View Campground sits on the shaded western shore of Diamond Lake, offering direct views of Mount Thielsen. Its 60 reservable campsites are set in a mixed conifer canopy with drinking water spigots and vault toilets distributed across the loops. Campers get free access to the on-site boat ramp for fishing Diamond Lake's rainbow trout. The paved 11-mile John Dellenback Trail encircles the lake right from the grounds, and trailheads for Mount Bailey and Rodney Butte lie minutes away.
