South Shore Pavilion is a day-use group facility set in lodgepole pine forest along Diamond Lake at an elevation of 5,183 feet, with views of Mount Bailey and Mount Thielsen. The site accommodates up to 60 people and includes electricity, picnic tables, a large grill, drinking water, flush toilets, a boat ramp, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. An 11-mile paved trail loops the lake for cycling, while local waters feature rainbow trout fishing and a 10-mph speed limit for motorized boats.
