Setting
Tucked into a forest of mixed conifers and hardwoods, Ash Flat Campground features four shaded campsites outfitted with picnic tables and fire pits. The facility includes a vault toilet and garbage disposal, though no drinking water is provided on-site. Located just seconds from the South Umpqua River, the campground gives visitors immediate access to river beaches, swimming areas, and downstream scenic views year-round.
Getting there: From Canyonville, OR, turn off of southeast Main Street onto southeast 3rd Street / OR-227. Continue on OR-227 for approximately 23 miles until reaching the town of Tiller, OR. Turn left onto County Road 46 (South Umpqua Road) and continue for 18 miles to Ash Flat Campground, located on the right side of the road.
