Currently closed until further notice, Reservoir Campground sits on the shore of Wickiup Reservoir along the Cascade Lakes Highway. The facility features a boat ramp, vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings with grills for tents, trailers, and RVs. There are no electrical hookups or drinking water supplies on site. When open, the area draws anglers targeting brown trout, salmon, and rainbow trout, as well as boaters, swimmers, and visitors traveling the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway.
Road difficulty 2 of 5 -- a moderate drive in. Recorded as maintained only for high-clearance vehicles, graded dirt, pitching to 2%. Overhead clearance here is posted at 18 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.
The Wickiup Reservoir shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Davis Mountain stands 2,280 ft above the site, 2.8 miles south. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 24-site campground. Most of them shaded. The nearest town, La Pine, is 14 mi off.
