Newberry Group Campground lies along the south shore of Paulina Lake inside the collapsed caldera of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. The facility features three paved group sites offering lakeside and forest camping, equipped with picnic areas and shoreline trails. Paulina Lake drops to depths of 250 feet and is fed by hot springs, supporting diverse waterfowl and spawning kokanee salmon. Visitors can walk the 7-mile Paulina Lakeshore loop trail directly from camp or head to nearby Paulina Peak for sweeping views of the volcanic terrain.
