Lava Lake Campground sits at 4,740 feet on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountain Range, bordered by mature pine forests, bull rushes, and lava rock outcroppings. The waterfront layout features 44 campsites, divided between tent-only spaces and sites sized for small RVs and trailers. On-site facilities include a day-use area and a boat ramp providing access to Lava Lake. The surrounding Deschutes National Forest land offers access to local hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing.
