Built in the 1930s among a grove of large firs, Packers Cabin is an accessible, single-story historic site that accommodates up to 12 people. The wooden cabin is furnished with one double bunk, ten single bunks with mattresses, a work surface, a table, chairs, and a wood stove. Outside, the property provides wheelchair ramps, wide doorways, picnic tables, a fire ring, tent space, and an accessible vault toilet. There is no drinking water on site. The cabin sits near the Chetco River for trout and salmon fishing, while the nearby accessible Oregon Redwoods Trail leads through old-growth trees.
