Setting
Foster Bar Campground sits in a meadow beside the Wild and Scenic Rogue River at the historic site of the final battle of the Rogue River Indian Wars. The facility features eight campsites (four tent-only and four tent-or-trailer) with picnic tables and fire pits. On-site amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, a scat machine, garbage disposal, and a campground host. Downstream sits a boat ramp used by anglers and rafters, while the Lower Rogue River Trail #1168 provides foot access to the river.
Getting there: From Gold Beach, OR, take 101 north and turn right on County Road 595 (Jerry Flat Road). Take Forest Road 33 (Agness Road) 20.9 miles, then turn right onto County Road 375 (Agness Illahe Road) and go 3.4 miles to to Foster Bar Boating Facility.
