Ochoco Divide Group Site sits at 4,700 feet at the top of the Ochoco Divide, tucked on a hill above State Highway 26 in the Ochoco National Forest. It accommodates up to 12 people comfortably, featuring a large group fire ring, drinking water spigots in the main campground, and walk-up parking at the base of the hill. Surrounded by ponderosa pine forest and grassy meadows, the location serves as a stop for touring cyclists and hikers. Trailheads at Bandit Springs are one mile away, and designated rockhounding areas for Oregon thunder eggs are located nearby in the forest.

Getting there: From Prineville, Oregon travel approximately 28 miles on State Highway 26. The campground is on the right at the top of the divide.
