Facilities on-site include vault toilets, drinking water, and an accessible fishing platform right on the Crooked Wild and Scenic River. The campground sits directly across the highway from its namesake rock formation and the trailhead for the Chimney Rock Trail. Cyclists can also access the 18-mile Crooked River Canyon Scenic Bikeway route that runs from Prineville to Big Bend Campground.
