Spinreel Sand Camping Area sits directly on the dunes in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, surrounded by coastal forest, small ponds, and the Pacific Ocean. Access is strictly limited to 4X4 vehicles traveling soft sand routes. The primitive area has numbered site posts accommodating up to 5 vehicles and 20 people per site. Campers must bring all drinking water, portable toilets, and fire pans, as no utilities or restrooms exist. Off-road vehicle corridors originate directly from the site, while non-motorized beach access lies two miles north.
