Antlers Guard Station is a two-room 1935 CCC cabin located at 4,107 feet along the North Fork Burnt River, two miles from the ghost town of Whitney. The cabin sleeps six with a futon and two bunk beds, supported by a propane fireplace, propane lights, and a kitchen with a propane range and refrigerator. Outside, the site includes an outdoor hand pump for drinking water, an outhouse, a garage, a fire ring, and picnic tables. Visitors must bring their own bedding and pack out garbage. River fishing and local forest roads surround the site.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

South Fork Mosquito Creek runs 0.3 mi off. Cabins and shelters rather than pads -- most of them shaded. Pogue Point stands 1,469 ft above the site, 3.2 miles south. The nearest town, Baker City, is 24 mi off.
