Copan Point is a day-use park set along the shores of the 4,850-acre Copan Lake on the Little Caney River, surrounded by Oklahoma grasslands and croplands. The site features a group picnic shelter for up to 45 people alongside individual sites with utility tables, grills, and fire pits. On-site facilities include flush and pit toilets, drinking water, a boat ramp with a courtesy dock, a separate fishing dock, a swimming beach, and a volleyball court. A three-mile trail for hiking and horseback riding skirts the lake, while 11,000 acres of managed surrounding land open to seasonal public hunting.
Getting there: From HWY 75, travel 2 miles west on HWY 10 and 1 mile north on County Road 3970, then turn left on W 850 Road and go 1 mile to the park.
