Spencer Creek Campground sits on Oologah Lake along the Verdigris River, surrounded by post oak and blackjack oak forests. The grounds offer campsites with 30-amp electric hookups, flush and pit toilets, showers, a dump station, a playground, and a boat ramp. The 30,000-acre lake is a regional hub for sailing, water skiing, and fishing for catfish and crappie. The 18-mile Will Rogers Country Centennial Trail runs nearby for hikers and horseback riders, while the historic Dog Iron Ranch, birthplace of Will Rogers, is located just down the road.
