Setting
Twin Cove Point is a day-use and camping area on the shores of 1,137-acre Birch Lake in Osage County. The terrain features oak and hickory forest, rock outcrops, and rolling hills. Facilities include three group picnic shelters, 40 first-come picnic sites, a swim beach, playground, boat ramp, and courtesy dock. Eleven primitive, unreserved campsites line the point, set in mixed sun and shade. The lake offers multi-species fishing for bass, crappie, and catfish, alongside nearby hunting lands.
Getting there: From Highway 11 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, take a left onto West Chestnut Avenue and go 0.2 miles. Take a left on South Eighth Street and go 1.5 miles south. Take a right into the Twin Cove Point facility.
