Cold Springs Campground (Chickasaw) in OK -- Campground & RV Camping in Oklahoma

Located 5 to 7 minutes from Sulphur, Cold Springs Campground is a tent-only, non-electric campground situated in a mature oak and hickory forest in Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The site includes two restroom buildings equipped with flush toilets and sinks, though no showers are provided. Directly across the road, spring-fed Travertine Creek offers picnicking and swimming holes. Nearby attractions include the 1-mile Antelope and Buffalo Springs Trail, Little Niagara swimming area, and the Travertine Nature Center.

Getting there: From I-35, take Exit 55 and drive towards the city of Davis, OK. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7. Watch for Chickasaw National Recreation Area signs. Drive approximately 8 miles east of Davis to the only 4 way stop (Jct Hwy 7 and Hwy 177) in the city of Sulphur. Turn right for approximately 0.2 miles on Highway 177. Take the first left turn on NE Perimeter Road. Keep driving on NE Perimeter Road until you see the sign for Cold Springs Campground. The campground will be on your left.
