Setting
Lost Rapids Campground is located on the eastern shore of Pine Creek Lake, a 3,750-acre reservoir at the edge of the Ouachita Mountains fed by the Little River. The campground features several individual campsites, half of which have electric hookups, plus a group site with four electric hookups. On-site amenities include flush toilets, drinking water, and a boat ramp for lake access to fish for crappie, bass, and catfish. Nearby attractions within driving distance include Beavers Bend State Park, Raymond Gary State Park, and the 1824 historic ruins of Fort Towson.
Getting there: From Broken Bow, OK, take Highway 3 west 22 miles to the park entrance. Turn south at the sign and follow the access road.
