Setting
Kiamichi Park Campground is a grassy, forested facility set along the shores of Hugo Lake in southeast Oklahoma. The park features 85 individual campsites, an 11-site group loop, and a dedicated equestrian camping area on Raccoon Road with 13 horse stalls. Amenities include a playground, a swimming beach, and paved roads suitable for biking. Visitors use the site to fish for crappie and bass, ride nearby horseback trails, or shoot at the park's archery practice range.
Getting there: From Hugo, OK, take Highway 70 east for 5 miles and follow the posted signs to the campground.
