Setting
Hugo Lake Group Camp sits in a grassy forest along the banks of Hugo Lake in southeast Oklahoma. The facility features four group sites accommodating up to 25 people each, with electric hookups for four to five rigs per site, large picnic shelters, and a shared playground. Note that there is currently no running water on site. Guests have direct access to the lake for catfishing, crappie, and bass fishing, while nearby Kiamichi Park provides an archery practice range and extensive surrounding land dedicated to bow hunting and wildlife management.
Getting there: From Sawyer, OK, take Highway 147 north for nearly 4 miles, follow posted signs, and stay with the paved road to the campground.
