Setting
Elk Creek Landing Park sits along Tenkiller Ferry Lake, framed by 200-foot limestone bluffs and oak-hickory forests in the Ozark foothills. The campground offers campsites with electric hookups alongside non-electric sites and two group shelters. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, water hydrants, a dump station, and a boat ramp, with a commercial marina nearby. Campers use the park to swim, sail, and fish for bass and crappie on the 12,500-acre lake, or access the stocked rainbow trout fishery on the lower Illinois River below the dam.
