Burns Run West Campground sits on the southeastern shore of Lake Texoma among the oak-forested hills of the Cross Timbers region. The facility offers 117 campsites, 105 of which include water and electric hookups, plus five group sites and two large day-use picnic shelters with electricity. On-site amenities include flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, three dump stations, a boat ramp, a playground, and a swimming beach. The lake provides access for striped bass fishing and boating, while the 14-mile Cross Timbers hiking trail runs along nearby bluffs.
