Longdale Campground is an open, grassy park with shade trees on the shores of Canton Lake and the North Canadian River, six miles from Canton. The year-round facility offers 35 primitive, non-electric campsites and a day-use group picnic shelter with electrical outlets, supported by scattered water hydrants (shut off November through March). The park provides shoreline access for swimming and boating, with the annual mid-May Walleye Rodeo derby hosted on the lake. The 14,862-acre Canton Wildlife Management Area and Roman Nose State Park are within driving distance.
