Setting
Canadian Campground sits along Canton Lake and the North Canadian River in northwest Oklahoma, 2.5 miles from the town of Canton. The grounds feature 120 family sites and one group shelter, all equipped with electric hookups, along with flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, two dump stations, three boat ramps, and a playground. The area is shaded by native cottonwoods, oaks, and willows alongside planted elms, maples, and sycamores. The adjacent 14,862-acre Canton Wildlife Management Area provides hunting, while Roman Nose and Glass Mountains state parks are about 30 minutes away.
Getting there: From Canton, OK: Go .5 miles west on HWY 51, turn north on HWY 58A. Travel for 2.3 miles to a 3-way Stop. Continue straight (west) curving right to a 4 way Stop. Continue north a short distance, taking the right fork to the campground entrance.
