Setting
Big Bend Park sits along Canton Lake on the North Canadian River in northwest Oklahoma. The shoreline is shaded by native cottonwoods, oaks, and willows alongside planted shade trees. The campground features 102 campsites with water and electric hookups, 12 non-electric sites, and panoramic lake views. On-site amenities include four boat ramps, a group picnic shelter, and a disc golf course. Swimmers use the sandy beaches on the north shore, while the adjacent 14,862-acre Canton Wildlife Management Area provides access for hunting whitetail deer and waterfowl.
Getting there: From Canton, OK, travel 1.8 miles west on HWY 51, then continue 4 miles north on the paved county road.
