Setting
Situated near wildflower prairies in southwest Ohio, this facility features day-use picnic shelters beside the Caesar Creek Lake Visitor Center. Shelters include electric and water hookups, two cooking grills, large playgrounds, and access to 24-hour heated and cooled indoor restrooms. A courtesy dock near the shelters allows for kayak launches and shoreline fishing for crappie and muskie. Visitors can access the 1-mile Adena Trace fitness trail directly from the site, or connect to over 50 miles of regional hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, and equestrian trails.
Getting there: From I-75 head east on Highway 73 for 11.5 miles past Waynesville. Follow the signs for the Caesar Creek Visitor Center for 3 more miles. From I-71 head west on Highway 73 for 7.7 miles. Follow the signs for the Caesar Creek Visitor Center for about 3 miles.
