Grey Cliffs Campground in NV -- Campground & RV Camping

Grey Cliffs Campground is set among pinyon pines beside limestone cliffs in Great Basin National Park. The site features tent-only campsites equipped with campfire rings, alongside vault toilets. No RVs are permitted, and there is no potable water on site, though water can be fetched at nearby Baker Creek Campground or the Lehman Caves Visitor Center. The grounds serve as a base for exploring park trails, taking guided tours of Lehman Caves, driving to Wheeler Peak, or viewing ancient bristlecone pines.

Getting there: From the east or west: From U.S. Highway 6 & 50, turn south on Nevada State Highway 487 and travel 5 miles to Baker, NV. In Baker turn west on Highway 488 and travel 5 miles to the park. From the south (Utah): Travel north on Utah State Highway 21 through Milford, UT and Garrison, UT, which will become Nevada State Highway 487 as you cross the border. Turn west on Highway 488 in Baker and travel 5 miles to the park. From the south (Nevada): Travel north on U.S. Highway 93 (Great Basin Highway). At the junction of U.S. Highway 6 & 50 drive east to Nevada State Highway 487 and turn south. Travel 5 miles to Baker, NV. In Baker turn west on Highway 488 and travel 5 miles to the park.

• Flat ground is scarce: under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
• Doso Doyabi stands 5,676 ft above the map pin, 4.1 miles west.
• Mostly tent-only sites, with most of them shaded.
• Pole Creek runs 0.4 mi off.
