Mount Rose Campground is located at 9,300 feet on the western slope of Mount Rose off Highway 431, under 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Set in a shady forest of lodgepole, Jeffrey, white pine, and red fir, the facility features paved roads and parking spurs. Trailheads for the Tahoe Rim Trail, Mount Rose Wilderness, and Mount Rose Summit lie right outside camp.
