Located at the headwaters of Slide Creek under aspen and subalpine fir trees, this 6-site campground serves as the trailhead for the Slide Creek Trail into the Jarbidge Wilderness. The non-reservable, zero-fee location includes one vault restroom and separate horse corrals. Sites suit tents and small trailers. No drinking water is available, and horses are not allowed within the campsite area.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

Stormy Peak stands 2,365 ft above the site, 2.9 miles east. The nearest town, Wells, is 29 mi off.
