Big Bend Campground sits in an aspen grove approximately 15 miles northeast of Wildhorse Reservoir with 15 sites. Amenities include vault toilets and picnic tables, but potable water is not available. Open May through November, sites cost $8 per night. Managed by Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, the area appeals to hunters and OHV users. The Gold Creek mining town site is located 5 miles south.
