Setting
Mahogany Grove Campground is a tent-only facility in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, situated among stands of juniper and mountain mahogany with wide mountain views. The reconstructed camp offers six group sites, each furnished with tent pads, picnic tables, serving tables, grills, and fire rings. Parking is arranged in a central paved lot-style layout, requiring campers to carry gear a short distance to their sites. Facilities include vault toilets and paved access roads. The North Loop-Mt. Charleston Trailhead and Robber's Roost Trailhead are less than a mile away.
Getting there: From Las Vegas, Nevada, take Highway 95 north to the junction with Highway 157/Kyle Canyon. Turn left and travel approximately 18 miles to junction with Highway 158/Deer Creek. Turn right and travel approximately 6 miles to the campground.
