Setting
Located 24 miles from Las Vegas in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, Fletcher View Campground sits in an open forest of ponderosa pine, mountain mahogany, and Gambel oak. The campground parallels a highway and seasonal stream, offering views of surrounding canyon walls. Campsites include electric hookups, tables, fire rings, and grills along paved spurs, with drinking water provided on site. Guests have direct access to a paved nature trail, with over 60 miles of broader hiking and horseback riding trails nearby, as well as local rock climbing routes.
Getting there: From Las Vegas, Nevada, travel north on Highway 95 to the junction with Highway 157/Kyle Canyon. Turn left and travel approximately 18 miles; campground is on the left side of the highway.
